Janae is a leading soloist at Victorian State Ballet working as a professional ballerina performing regularly on domestic and international tours. Graduated from Tanya Pearson Academy and Ballett Akademie München, she has mastered both her artistry and technique from her early beginnings since the age of three. In her film debut, Janae is keen to explore how cinematic language can intersect with the expressive dance form.

Producer
Mia is a graduating student at the University of Technology Sydney studying Media Arts and Production. She was first introduced to a Producing/1st AD role for a student recreation of a Haunting of Hill House scene, in which she enjoyed and started developing skills associated with the logistical aspects of filmmaking. Mia was keen to be involved in the Talking Body production, eager to bring to fruition this experimental and emotive piece. Mia intends to continue working in the digital media industry post-graduation.

Director of Photography
Diamond is a Sydney-based cinematographer, storyteller and filmmaker. She works across genres such as long/short-form narrative and music video. She is passionate about the art of cinema and the craft of visual storytelling. In particular, she is deeply interested in human-focused stories that explore the experiences of life. She hopes to continue to contribute her voice to diverse storytelling and champion unheard stories. In the future, she aspires to experiment more with other visual art forms such as digital art and installations.

Production Designer
Emily is a graduate from UNSW having recently completed her Bachelor of Media/Arts majoring in Screen and Sound Production and Creative Writing. Having worked on a number of student and independent projects she enjoys collaborating with fellow creatives to capture the human spirit from fresh and unique perspectives.

Editor
Betty is a 20-year-old student born in Sydney, Australia. As a young girl, she was passionate about recording everything, whether it be through journaling, photography, or videography. Gradually, this passion grew, and encouraged her to study at UTS. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in Media Arts & Production and Strategic Communications, combined with a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation. As part of her last year of study, she curated her skills in post-production editing, sound design, VFX, and colour grading.

Sound Designer
Celine is a second-generation Vietnamese-Australian living on Dharug land. She is currently finishing up her studies in Media Arts and Production at the University of Technology Sydney. In addition to university projects, Celine was able to partake within a production internship with Found At Sea Films. She assisted various pre-production roles and attended commercial shoots. As a junior storyteller and media director for UTS Hip Hop Society, she has worked across short-form experimental media, narratives, documentaries, commercial media and event coverage.

Composer
Sora was a first-year composition student at the Conservatorium of Music with 13-years experience with violin and 3-years experience in composition. In 2015, she performed a solo at the Opera House at the String Festival which involved string groups from various schools and achieved high results in her AMEB violin exams. Sora is known to be creative and exploratory with her compositions, combining electronic music with orchestral elements. With aspirations in songwriting and acting, she plans to continue her studies at NIDA in 2023.

Production Assistant
Nevenda is a current student at UTS studying a Bachelor of Communications in Media Arts and Production. Her primary areas of interest are video and sound editing with interests in action, comedy, drama and romance genres. With proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro she aims to nurture these technical skills further as a future media arts practitioner in the film industry.
